By accessing or using Jewelry Identifier ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Description of Service

Jewelry Identifier provides AI-powered jewelry identification and appraisal tools via a website and mobile application. The Service uses artificial intelligence to analyze images of jewelry and provide estimated valuations, material identification, and related information.

Important Disclaimer — AI Appraisals

Our appraisals are AI-generated estimates for informational purposes only. They are not certified professional appraisals and should not be used as a substitute for an appraisal from a GIA-certified gemologist or licensed appraiser. Specifically:

  • AI estimates should not be relied upon for insurance coverage decisions
  • AI estimates should not be used for estate or legal proceedings
  • AI estimates should not be used as the sole basis for buying or selling jewelry
  • Actual values may differ significantly from AI estimates

For insurance, estate, legal, or high-value transactions, we strongly recommend obtaining a formal appraisal from a certified professional.

User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Upload malicious content, viruses, or harmful files
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Use automated scripts or bots to access the Service without permission
  • Resell or redistribute appraisal results commercially without authorization
  • Upload images that you do not have the right to share

Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, AI models, and content, is owned by Mobile Art Labs and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of the images you upload. By uploading images, you grant us a limited license to process them for the purpose of providing the Service.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Jewelry Identifier and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or value, arising from your use of the Service or reliance on AI-generated appraisals.

Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without prior notice.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through your account settings.
